We Shoot Cocktails had a great start in 2009 and ended strongly! We having been working with amazing clients like VeeV, St. Germain, Crop Organic Vodka, Chatham Imports, and many others. We will definitely be sharing our latest works to kick off 2010, but we want to share with you some more holiday cocktails of 2009. The DC Craft Bartender’s Guild, The Motac, and PS 7’s hosted an amazing event to celebrate the 76th Anniversary of Repeal Day in Washington, D.C.
They had a great turnout and with special guests like Dale Degroff, Jill Degroff signing copies of her newest book, Lush Life, Jeffrey Morganthaler as the Master of Ceremonies for the night, Tad Carducci of The Tippling Brothers, Todd Thrashser of Restaurant Eve and PX, it was just a recipe for great cocktails and a load of fun!
And I have to shout out and say a BIG THANK YOU to Derek Brown, Owen Thomson, Gina Cheservani, Chantal Tsang[Brown], Adam Bernbach, and all of the staff and volunteers who made this event possible.

It’s our new shop Celebrating the Mixology Culture with posters that help decorate your home or office space!
These posters make great gifts for that special Mixologist or cocktail enthutiast.

Madame X, a delicious cocktail, a unique cocktail art creation by Angel Arroyo.
Eryn Reece is a talented and respected mixologist in New York City as well as the 1st grand prize winner for the 1st Cocktails & Tweet Contest hosted by We Shoot Cocktails, LLC and Chilled Magazine.
The contest was simple and fun – submit a signature cocktail recipe for a chance to win a styled photo shoot and we had some great mixologists take part.
Eryn Reece won the contest with her signature cocktail recipe, Madame X. Here is some of the photography we took of Madame X…enjoy!

We Shoot Cocktails has a new home. YUP! A brand new studio for all of our cocktail photography.
Better yet…we have just unvailed the new shop at We Shoot Cocktails called The Cocktail Gallery.
So, what have we been up to? Since the summer we have been working on Holiday cocktail shoots. We are excited to share with you holiday cocktail photography for a great spirit, VeeV Acai Liquor and some behind the scene shots.

What an awesome idea! The Tuthiltown Distillery debuted the grand opening of their new retail store and also hosted a tour, and what better guests than the United States Bartender’s Guild of New York!
We are proud members of the USBGNY and had a chance to hang out with some of our great friends this past 4th of July weekend and drink some GREAT beer (at 10am – is that hardcore or what!) donated by the great guys of Kasteel Cru and really great whiskey made by the great people of Tuthiltown!

We recently began following an awesome blog, Mixology Monday, written by Paul Clarke of The Cocktail Chronicles, that hosts a monthly online cocktail party. They call out an ingredient and ask all of us bloggers to create, post, and blog about cocktails around that ingredient. This month they are featuring GINGER as the monthly ingredient and RUM DOOD, a blog dedicated to RUM.
We thought it would be a great idea to create photoshoot and want to share with you our signature cocktail recipe, Ginger Frost. Check out the pics and the recipe below.

This is our 1st Cocktails & Tweet Contest. The rules are really simple.

#2 – You must have a signature cocktail recipe.
#3 -We will select one (1) winner RANDOMLY to have one of your signature cocktail recipes styled and photographed.
With this you will get one(1) high resolution digital file that you will be able to use for your self-promotion. This is a great way for you to showcase a recipe that just won a competition, a recipe that you just created behind the bar, or a cocktail that you are looking to promote.
